Charles Kaufman is the brother of Troma Entertainment co-founder Lloyd Kaufman and a film director in his own right. In 1994, following his retirement from the film industry, he opened Bread and Cie, an artisanal bakery/cafe/baked goods wholesaler in San Diego, California, which he continues to run to this day.
